Training
- We are now taking dogs for the Summer/Fall '08 training season. Space is limited so reserve your space now. We take no more than 10 dogs at a time. This ensures your dog gets top quality personal attention. We do also take dogs for the AKC Hunt Training Program, Junior, Senior, and Master Hunter.

Baby Puppy Program - 7 weeks to 6 months
Many have seen that we start our field trial pups at 7 weeks of age and have asked us for a program for their pups - so here it is.
1. Quail to get your pup pointing, excited and bird crazy.
2. Bird releaser work to get your pup steady to wing.
3. Proper introduction to gunfire.
4. Free run with other young dogs for basic conditioning.
5. Check cord work.
6. Basic yard work.
7. Basic retrieve work.
No pressure - no ecollar.
3 month program - 750.00
This program is the perfect introduction to our Junior program.

Oakley - 12 weeks of age pointing a pigeon.
Peanut - on live quail. Taken at 11 weeks of age.
Junior - for dogs 6 months up to 1 1/2 years.
1. Lots of liberated birds - your dog will have had at least 400 bird contacts in this 3 month program.
2. Conditioning - road work and free run
3. Check cords, whistle and verbal commands
4. Most dogs come back steady until flush (some to wing and shot).
5. They learn to work various types of cover using the wind and their nose to scent out birds
6. Gunfire - we condition them to the gun and eventually shoot live birds over them.
We do not use the e-collar on junior dogs. We use a praise and reward program that encourages good behavior.
A young pup should enjoy his hunting experiences. We do not put any pressure on junior dogs.

Gun Dog - for dogs that are ready for breaking. At least 16 months of age.
1. Steady to wing and shot

4. Conditioning
5. Retrieving
This will take 3 to 4 months with most dogs.
450.00 per month.
Tucker - being steadied to wing and shot. Gunner
Refresher - for dogs that have been broke but need refreshed with lots of bird work.
400.00 per month
Hondo being readied for the fall hunting season.
Retrieving
We do Force Breaking to Retrieve if your dog does not retrieve naturally, or is a little lazy on his or her retrieve.
750.00 total.
Hemi being force broke to retrieve - getting a break with some bird action.
Your dog must have all its shots - DHLP-Parvo and Rabies within the last year.
We have 5 main training areas consisting of thousands of acres in Utah and Nevada. Your dog will be worked on many types of cover and birds.

We use chukar, quail, pigeons and pheasant in our training programs.
Your dog must have a 1 inch wide leather collar with an 0 ring type snap. If not I will provide one at 15.00.
